I found the heart in LaPorte, IN USA. On June 18, 2023, Father’s Day, I went to the park where I planted a tree in memory of my dad. I was sitting on a bench near by and I kept looking over at the tree. I saw what looked like a Fall colored leaf and thought “that looks out of place”. I finished eating my lunch, then I went over to the tree and found the quilted heart. This was a precious moment for me. My dad was a very caring and loving person to our family. We lost him in May of 2020 during the start of the pandemic. My dad fell and broke his hip and he did not do well during the recovery. He passed away at home surrounded by his family. The quilted heart was a great symbol of my dad showing me love on Father’s Day!!!
