It was March 11, 2024 and we were getting ready to go skiing, waiting for the shuttle bus.I looked behind the bench, and a yellow heart stood out against the gray of the cement.I picked it up and put it in my pocket.Then the shuttle came and we had to go. When we got back to the ski resort and our room, I took it out of my pocket and looked at it more closely. It had little flowers on it, and a circus tent on the back. A red ribbon came out of the top, and a little bow button was sewn near the top. On the front a little piece of paper read, I NEED A HOME! Pinned to the front.After we had dinner, I placed it on the kitchenette table. After we drove home, my dad looked up the quilted heart program. That is why I’m typing this story. KCE ~ 10
