Kent is one of my favorite places, especially in the Fall when the leaves are changing colors. My husband and I were visiting from Tucson, AZ with friends that live in Connecticut. We were walking along Main St in Kent looking for the relocated Good Gallery. It was a beautiful day and we were having so much fun trying to find the gallery where we made a much loved purchase years earlier. I was admiring one of the many charming park benches along Main Street and that’s where I found my quilted heart! It was lying under the bench waiting for me. I’m sure it was meant for me because I best love dogs, coffee and old houses. My quilted heart was sewn from coffee themed fabric. Meant to be, right? We never did find the gallery, but the little quilted heart was such an unexpected gift from an unknown quilter and it truly made my day. Thank you.
