Hello, my name is Jane and I found my quilted heart at the Kearney Cemetery, it as hanging on a beautiful blue spruce tree. I walk in the cemetery almost every day, I find it peaceful and tranquil…..I first saw the heart yesterday (Monday) and decided to leave it…..there was a funeral in progress and I thought perhaps someone who was grieving might find it and it would bring them comfort. When I walked by the tree today, the heart was still there so I decided it wanted to go home with me. I would like to thank the person who left the heart, it was a special moment to see ‘ a gift’ in a place that really doesn’t have gifts. It brought a smile to my face and it reminded me that there is kindness in the world, you just have to look for it.
