My husband and I are visiting VT for the week. We stopped at the old Mill to see Snowflake Bentley’s exhibit. I was feeling a little down because we’d just had a little disagreement. After he parked the car, I slowly got out. I let him walk ahead, and I stopped to admire some brightly colored mums. I saw what I thought was some trash in the blooms, and as I pulled it out, I realized to my great delight it was a quilted heart. I was getting ready to put it back because I thought it was decoration. Then I saw the tag saying “I need a home!”. It made me inordinately happy to give it a new home. I can’t wait to share my story my my daughter, who quilts. Thank mystery quilter! You are loved!! 🙂
