This heart. This act of kindness brings tears of gratitude to my eyes. I was walking with my niece in The Sensory Garden park in Jamestown, ND. We were on our second lap when I noticed this heart hanging in a tree. I immediately thought of my mom, who passed a little over a year prior. She loved quilting and she loved that park. The day before I found the heart, I visited my mom’s grave. Tearfully, I asked her for a sign that she is still with me because I have felt the distance so much since she had passed. I got my sign.
