I found my quilted heart on my college campus at Marshall University in Huntington, WV, USA. I saw it and had to do a double take because I was curious about what it was. It was hanging from a tree. This heart means a lot to me especially today 9/19/23 because it’s been 5 months since my dad has passed away. I woke up this morning feeling really anxious, sad, angry, and more. This heart just reminded me of him and that he was still here with me. Somehow, someway, he still manages to be here. I love my heart and will cherish it for forever.
