I had left for my walk this morning to head to the Bolsa Chica wetlands. I had walked a different way than I normally did. I was starting to get hot, so I took off my jacket and pulled my hair up in a ponytail. I proceeded down the hill to the wetlands and saw this quilted heart hanging from a tree. This is the third heart I’ve found. The other two I found were at Irvine Regional Park in Orange. I was feeling kind of grumpy with being hot and this made me smile. What a way to start off the first day of summer with a smile and a heart!
