While on a mini vacation with my husband and our pups, we visited the Bodie Island Lighthouse. On our walk to the the marsh area, I saw something blue hanging from a bayberry bush. A closer look and there was this wonderful blue heart shaped piece of quilted material with a little note pinned to it saying “I need a home.” This darling little heart will now reside in my home. The most interesting part of my find is…the fabric is blue, my favorite color, the print on the fabric has a sea turtle, my favorite ocean animal, and lighthouses are one of my favorite structures to visit. So, it was meant to be. ♡
