A Tale of Two Hearts
I found a Very Special Heart today when I arrived home 💛 Here is my Heart’s Story….
Several weeks ago my daughter was taking a walk when she came across a beautiful Rainbow colored heart tied to a vine behind our house. She was so touched, it made her smile and tear up. She felt like it was a sign and loved that someone was doing something so thoughtful and kind within our community. A few weeks later it would be my turn…..
Today was a long and tiring day. It feels like a full week and it’s only Tuesday! So it was a nice reprieve hearing from my daughter when she left me a message about something she was excited to share with me. She even left me a few text messages that she loved me and hoped I was having a good day. When I was finished with my day, I couldn’t wait to go home and find out the reason for her excitement. As I arrived home and pulled into my driveway my heart instantly melted! Hanging right there in my driveway on a palm frond was this adorable sunflower heart that met my windshield as I parked. I had the biggest smile on my face! Then out of the house comes my daughter with the biggest smile on her face!! We both laughed and were overjoyed by this little sunflower heart that meant so much to us. (Sunflowers have a special meaning to me ever since my dad passed in 2019. When they randomly pop into my day, I feel they are such a blessing and gift. I absolutely love bees too!)
My daughter had been on a walk earlier today when she found this sunflower heart hanging from tree, and was going to leave it for someone else to find. She walked a few steps ahead and stood in her tracks as she realized That Someone was Me. I am so thankful to her for sharing this heart, I will treasure it. In fact I’ll be taking it to work so I can be surrounded with love and positive light.
