I paused while plodding up the Jewel Trail headed up Mt Washington in NH on Saturday
Aug 10. It was a tough humid hike. This heart was washed into the mud and debris on the side of the trail. The colors drew my eye in and then I realized it was a quilters heart. It was a lovely find.
