I found this heart hanging in a tree along a walking path adjacent to Tecolotito Creek. I was on the phone with my brother talking about some bad news my mom received from her cancer doctor at the time. She just had a biopsy done to determine what type it is. My brother and I were taking about keeping faith and there it was – this quilted heart with the “I need a home!” note pinned to it. This little heart brought some comfort to my heart. Thank you! This little heart will have a home as a symbol of faith and hope.
