Today was a hard day for me mentally, emotionally and physically. While visiting my grandmother at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL, I was driving around the parking lot aimlessly looking for the correct entrance. I was getting more frustrated and feeling more defeated as time went on. When suddenly, I looked up and spotted something hanging in a tree. Because I was in a hurry, I did not photograph it when it first caught my eye. But I parked my car, got out and grabbed it. As I began to look at it when I got back in my car, I was brought to tears. As I felt like this heart was a sign from God/The Universe. A sign that love is all around me. That there is beauty even in the hard times. That if you just look up, for a moment, you might find pleasant surprises. Thank you to the Three Sisters that gifted me this beautiful quilted heart. This unexpected treasure brought so much hope, joy & light to my day. 🩷 I ask that you all keep my grandmother in your prayers, and never lose faith. Beauty is all around us, at every moment. 🩷
