Perhaps it was serendipity … My mom passed in late April and today was the day to remove personal items from the house to ready it for sale. On the drive back home, I stopped at the rest area just outside of Gaylord, Michigan to stretch my legs and wash my hands, and saw this beautiful heart on the window ledge at the rest area. Serendipity because my mother loved flowers, loved blue, and the coral color fabric was the same color of the geraniums I would get her each summer. I have probably passed by that rest area a thousand times, and this was the first time ever that I stopped. What a kindness to find this heart today. Thank you to the person who made and shared this gift.
