The holidays have always been hard living away from most of my family. With this year seeming more quiet and lonely with our kids in college and parents not visiting I found myself in a bah humbug mood walking into work one morning. “Why am I even going in today….it’s not going to be a great day!” Until I checked the mailbox on the way in and found this heart nearby. It made me feel like someone out there cared to brighten my day. My mood immediately changed and sent me into the Christmas spirit ever since. I keep it hanging on the light behind my laptop on my desk to remind me someone is always having a much harder time. Move forward with positivity. This heart helped me when I needed it the most.
