My son and I found a quilted heart outside of a brewery in Fredricksburg Texas. We are in the middle of moving to a new town that’s across Texas and the transition has been very stressful for our family. I have a 11 year old son and a 7 year old daughter. I’m actually part of a quilting group and because of the move, I’ve had to pack up all of my quilting supplies. I was super sad about not being able to participate in this weeks “show and tell” but then I found this quilted heart and it just felt like such a gift and in more ways than one. It was a reminder that people care, and that everything is going to be okay; but also a gift given to me in that I now have something to share with my friends in the meeting. It made me so happy.
