I was visiting Castlewood Canyon with a friend. As a new volunteer I am learning everything I can about the park. Near a trailhead parking lot is a six sided kiosk with a wealth of information about the park. We are asked to always “leave no trace” so when I saw the heart in the grass I picked it up, thinking it was trash. To my surprise is was a very sweet quilted heart.
