I found this heart hanging on a bush while hiking Butcher Jones Trailhead in Arizona. This is one of my favorite hikes, and we were at the end of the trailhead about to take a break, when I spotted the heart. I initially thought it was a piece of trash and intended to “pack it out” as we are told. I was surprised to find it was this quilted heart! I wondered who had planted it there and how long it had been waiting to be found. This is a popular trail, so it couldn’t have been too long. Even better was the Minions theme on the back. It now has a new home with my 8-year-old daughter, and we will be hanging it on the Christmas tree this year. I see this as a sign of hope as I’ve been diagnosed with cancer this year and lost my father unexpectedly last year. Thank you for spreading love!
