On Monday of this week my daughter and I were walking our remaining dogs (having lost a very special furry family member- named Alfie- the previous Saturday) when we happened upon this unique and lovely quilted heart. It was as if our beloved Alfie was reaching out to us in a gesture of love. It was a very touching moment and we were amazed at the timing of this discovery. We will always treasure this wonderful gift. It is now hanging on the last picture we took of Alfie (the day before he passed). Thank you for reaching out to us on Alfie’s behalf during this period of mourning. It is so special.
