It was a nice windy morning in early March 2024. The sky was filled with clouds. I was feeling doubtful, but decided to go for a walk in the park. I didn’t sleep well and wasn’t feeling motivated, but it was time for a change. The need to take care of me was crucial. With this, I started my walk by the river. I stopped many times to kook at the scenery and take in the sound of the birds chirping and squirrels chipping away at acorns. Close to the end of my walk, I spotted a crane out of the corner of my eye. I softly approached and began to sneakily record it with my phone. It almost instantly flew away. Thankfully, I was able to capture it gracefully fly away. As I was reaching my very last few steps, I saw something flapping on the side of a large oak tree. “What is that?” I quietly asked myself. I cautiously approached and to my shock and delight what I saw on the other side of this tree was a cute little quilted heart. I was reluctant to take it, but it told me it needed a home. It was just what I needed to remind me that I was right where I needed to be.
