On Monday, July 24th, we took a beautiful and peaceful walk (minus a few spider webs) along Friendship Trail off 268. My mom was the one who found the heart hanging on a tree limb about midway on the trail. She explained the story about the hearts being made and randomly placed on trails for Elkin Trail Days! What a wonderful way for Kindred Spirits to be spread around the area and the world! ❤
