I was walking with my niece and we saw something blowing in the wind attached to a tree. At first we were hesitant to go see what it was because living in the city you just never know. Once we realize what it was I explained to my 10yr old niece that we could take it because we found it. She was absolutely thrilled, she’s from a very small town and doesn’t get to experience these things. Shortly after we got home I got a call that my grandmother had passed away. I feel like I was meant to find the quilted heart.
