As I stepped foot on my solo hike today looking to find peace & guidance while grounding myself. I was quickly reminded of my hometown before it grew into what it is today. Edisto served as a safe haven for me today. It was a breath of clean, fresh, crisp air. Delightfully wandered around for a few hours discovering a small quaint town with so much hidden beauty! Contemplated not finishing my planned hike due to mosquitoes, coastal weather & mud puddles. However, I persevered for an unknown reason & that reason was you whom I am so grateful for. It really made my journey so much sweeter, hiked the whole way back smiling. Always remind yourself to stop & smell the flowers or in this case the salt marshes… Thank you to whoever put time & love into this beautiful gift…it found its way to the right person in a time they needed it most✨ Kept as a reminder that life’s journey is individual & highly personal, sometimes there will be nobody to go with but that’s not an excuse to miss out & what is meant to be will always find a way to you.
