I have just had the most awful week ever. My husband is in the late stage of dementia. He was diagnosed 6 years ago at the age of 60 with early onset Alzheimer’s. The last few years have been just heartbreaking. Today after a particularly bad morning and feeling very broken, I was walking with my dog and found this little heart along the path where I have also left little hearts for people to find. Thank you so much to the wonderful person who made this one. I love owls. I also now know how others might feel when they find one of my heart’s that I have left.
