As a DSP, I work with 5 adults that have intellectual disabilities. As a team, we volunteer at 2 different volunteer sites each day Monday through Friday. This morning we volunteered to clean a local church, and this afternoon we’re helping at the Ronald McDonald House.
When we arrived at the Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald statue out front had a baggie tied to his wrist, so I checked it out. This is how I found my quilted heart. It’s spring colors, with a butterfly and a flower. I absolutely love it! And even better yet, my connection with my mom is butterflies. She loved them, so now she sends them to regularly. They always make me smile and warm my soul. Thank you for your time and energy, and for sharing your love with others!!
