I was walking on my college campus at the University of Denver to volunteer for my sorority’s philanthropy event (called Heart for Hearing). Two of my friends and I had crossed University Street and were walking along Warren Circle in front of the admissions building. From afar I saw something in the bush and it looked like litter at first but as I got closer I saw it was a quilted heart! I pointed it out, and my friend grabbed it – she then gave it to me because I found it and it was my birthday weekend. It made me happy and is hanging on the wall above my desk!
