I was sailing down the Hudson River this fall of 2023 heading south to the Bahamas for the winter. While on my way I stopped for one night at Coxsackie city dock. There was a farmer’s market that night in the park at the waterfront. I browsed the market, had a taco and beer at the food trucks and enjoyed live music that evening.
On my way back to the boat I noticed something dangling from a tree branch. It was a quilted heart…that needed a home.
I brought the heart to my sailboat and the heart will travel with me all the way to the Bahamas.
