A serendipitous discovery at our local farmers market in the small town of  was exactly sprinkle of pixie dust we needed but weren’t looking for. My 2 year old found this treasure in some flowers and I told her it needed to stay there. I thought she had dug up paper heart with flower seeds in it. Her big sister stepped in to make sure I knew that it was our destiny to bring it home with us. The color purple in our family represents Pancreatic Cancer Awareness. Something that is close to our hearts. My dad almost lost his battle last week. His body was shutting down. We turned to social media and asked for prayers, positive vibes, or pixie dust to make sure my toddler didn’t lose her best friend. The doctors called it “borderline miraculous” that he was able to fight the infection. She will share the heart of a stranger with him as they enjoy every extra minute of cuddles we were given. 💜
