I found this quilted heart near the Vedder Trail in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. I am thousands of miles away from home with my husband for work. We are here for about 6 months and I don’t know anyone here. I have collected hearts of all kinds all my life so I was so happy to see this treasure hanging in a tree when I was out for my daily walk. I was already a member of the FB group because I do some quilting and was thinking of putting a few hearts out into the world myself. This heart will travel back home with me, across Canada to the East Coast, and I will always think about it as a symbol of the kindness of strangers. It will always be a bright little spot that I will treasure. Thank you to whoever put this out there.
