Carmel, IN is making political history for having 8 Democrats running for city leadership positions. While working to support our Democratic candidates at our Carmel Library, I found the sweetest heart in the corner of a cushioned bench area in the main hallway. I have it hanging in our family room. I also have a heart hanging from a flannel shirt of a good friend who passed away. His wife had one of his shirts made into hearts as gifts. I also have a ceramic heart made by some students I knew when I was a principal in Northfield, IL. I love seeing these hearts as each one has a story.
