I found my heart on a railing in the elevator at the Cancer Institute of the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
I found this months ago, but it was hard for me to share this, as my mother went through a 12 year battle with breast cancer. I also felt guilt and guilty for awhile because I felt like it was meant for someone with cancer, someone who needed it, to brighten their day, give them hope, etc.
But 2 things… Maybe it was her giving me a smile because of what my partner is going through, who knows? All I know now is that I was meant to find it… OH!! and no offense, but I’ve looked through pages of these. I don’t know who did mine, but what a great job!! S(he) nailed it!
