I came up to Maine for Thanksgiving and decided to stay the week and work remotely. I grew up in Cape Elizabeth and love visiting the many beautiful beaches along the rocky coast of Maine. Every evening since I’ve been here, I’ve headed out to Kettle Cove to watch the sunset. Today was a particularly draining day at work and I drove out to the beach feeling heavy hearted. I usually head over to the point closer to Kettle Cove beach, but this evening something was nudging me to go over to the two benches overlooking Crescent Beach. I walked past a tree with its branches stripped bare and noticed something hanging from the tree. This is the 3rd quilted heart that I’ve found, each unexpected and just what I needed to soothe my aching heart. What a beautiful gift to receive. Thank you!
