We were on a fun family hike on Indigenous People’s Day at Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth, ME. We were looking at the peoples’ names on all the benches looking out at the ocean. I leaned down to look at something in the crack and I found a quilted heart! Mom thought it was a blue mask and said to leave it. But then we saw that it said “I need a home!” So we took a closer look! We looked up the website and saw that it did need a home! So we were very excited to take him to ours!!
