Yesterday morning, my husband and I took a walk near Evangeline Restaurant. I spotted a small quilted heart nestled in a young tree. It felt special, so I picked it up and brought it with us.
Later, driving to Bay Area a huge rig suddenly didn’t stop. I yelled, “Be careful!” and my husband swerved just in time. We were nearly pushed off the road.
I truly believe that quilted heart saved us. It was a quiet sign—love and protection in the simplest form.
