I found our quilted heart hanging from a wheelchair in the parking garage at UVM hospital in Burlington Vt on May 15 2025. My husband has been in the hospital since Dec 9 2024. He fell at home and resulted in being paralyzed chest down with no use of his arms. He is supported by a ventilator to fully inflate his lungs. He has a very long road ahead of him. I have been staying at the hospital with him sleeping in his room. I had gone out to run an errand and grabbed a wheelchair to help carry our supplies when I saw the heart attached to the handle. I was feeling anxious and worried about being gone so long but seeing the heart hanging there put a smile on my face and couldn’t wait to get settled to look it up. Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to slow down and think of all the good things that are going on in this mostly caring and kind world we live in❤️
