I kid you not, this is the third quilted heart I’ve found since my dad died in January. I found the first two in Halifax and I found this one today in Bridgewater hanging on a nail on the outside of Frenchy’s.
I’m on vacation so I was able to go with my mom to pick out a headstone for my dad’s grave. This marker will also have my mom’s name and a place for her future date on it. It’s a weird thing to shop for and it brings up a lot of feelings and sadness.
Finding this heart brought a huge smile to my face. Thank you, stranger. You made my day a lot brighter!
