I have never heard of this project before. I recently began working with a different agency where I now have two offices, one in each town. One of the towns happens to be a town that I grew up in and where I have a lot of child core memories, Breckenridge Texas. I had stepped out of my office for a quick lunch break and when I came back, I discovered this heart quilt where I learned about this project for the very first time. Ironically, today I had been somber- for it is my dad’s birthday today and he passed away 16 months ago. This heart to me, felt like it was a piece of him, giving his love through an angel on Earth- just for me to see and find. I can not express enough the joy it brought to my heart and spirit.
