I found this heart at a Crafting Retreat with my sisters and cousins last June. (2023) My two sister had been pushing me into quilting for years, but I was resisting. I am not a sewer. That weekend was also my birthday, so each surprised me with a quilt kit! With all the ladies encouragement, I completed my first quilt top that weekend! This heart will always be a pleasant reminder of the beginning of my crazy quilt making, fabric stashing, notion buying journey. It is January and I have made 5 quilts and I’m working on 5 more!
