I went out running today at Veterans Memorial Park in Boise. I had just finished my run and saw this quilted heart hanging on a tree like a Christmas ornament. I wasn’t sure if I should take it but it said it was for me. It really made my day to receive it. I have been going through a difficult time since my Dad passed away a couple weeks ago. I was running in the park to train for a 5K that will be at the park next week. The run is called the Battle Buddy run and it benefits the VA Hospital which is where my Dad died. Dad served in World War II and was 95 when he died. Finding this heart was a blessing to find at a time when I really needed it. Thank you so much to whoever put it there for me.
