This wonderfully quilted heart was definitely sent from an angel! Here is my story about finding it:
My 7-year-old grandson and I were walking to Mier Park, right down the street from our house, as we have many times before.
My grandson normally makes a beeline to the playground, but today he veered off the path to the old tennis court. He excitedly ran back and said, “Papa! Look what I found on the fence”! I almost broke into tears.
It looked just like something my mother would have made. She passed away in 2018 at the age of 87.
Life has been tough, especially lately for our grandkids and our family. The timing of this find was perfect, and it brought a much-needed smile to everyone in my family. Thank you so much for spreading love and joy in this world!
