I’m a Palliative Care Nurse at a small community hospital. I’m having a particularly rough morning, spending an extra 19 minutes in my car just centering myself before my work day begins. When I finally got the motivation to begin my day I walked past a tree and something caught my eye- this beautiful heart!
Attached to the tag is something even more special- a small butterfly.
Butterflies are the symbol of palliative care. It was as if I was meant to find it, and to keep on keeping on. Thank you so much!!
