I found my quilted heart in front of my workplace, hanging from a small tree. I don’t usually work on Saturdays but went in for a couple hours today. It definitely wasn’t there only an hour earlier, and at first I thought it was a Valentine’s Day decoration.
I truly believe this specific heart was fated for me to find. Either that or a lovely coincidence. My Nana was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be undergoing surgery on Thursday. Plus, I am a breast cancer survivor myself! In two weeks I will celebrate five years “cancer-free”🩷
I will forever cherish this little heart. Thank you kind stranger.
