I was on my lunch break and work and just got off of the phone with my Dad! He had posted something on Facebook today about how much he misses his Dad and I made sure to let him know how much I love and appreciate him. When I was walking back to the door at my work, I looked over and saw the prettiest quilted heart hanging in a little bush. The way that the sun was hitting it against the colorful fall leaves, made me smile! I can’t wait to give this heart to my Dad as a token of my love for him and the beautiful life that he has given and continues to give to me! He is my hero and I make sure to talk to him every single day! He is just recovering from a complete knee replacement and I think this will bring some cheer to him!
