God, is that you?
This morning was particularly hard, as last night, my fiancee ended our 2-year relationship. I’d been seeking comfort and guidance – a sign from something greater than myself that everything would be ok – when I pulled into the parking lot and saw this beautiful little heart hanging from a bolt on a light pole.
It now hangs from the trophy that I bought for my fiancee as a joke one day, after saying that she was such a great partner she deserved a trophy. She awarded it back to me a couple weeks later, and I never got a chance to give it back to her.
God works in mysterious ways. I’m so grateful I was led to this little witness of His (and your, kind quilter) love this morning. It means so very very much to me.
