My friend and I who had not seen each other in two months were enjoying each other’s company riding our bicycles south from Iola, Kansas on the Southwind Trail. We stopped at the halfway point between Iola and Humboldt and I found this adorable quilted heart attached to the beam of the shelter. I think it caught my attention because hearts are one of my favorite things. I have a heart tattoo, I have several pieces of heart jewelry and pink is one of my favorite colors. Thank you to whoever shared this! It will remind me of a great afternoon on the beautiful trail with my very good friend.
