I was running on the break wall in Presque Isle Harbor (on Lake Huron) when I found a beautiful quilted heart! That day, I was running and counting my blessings (like I try to do on every run) but, that morning I was a bit weighted down with concerns about a few situations in my life that felt heavy and hopeless. I was asking God for answers, when I spotted a colorful heart hanging from the break wall! Instantly, I knew He heard me. Instantly, I felt His powerful presence. I smiled, & ran home at a much faster pace. Thank you little quilted heart, you were in the right place, at the exact right time.
