It was 9:00am I was outside my daughters daycare in East Providence, RI on Willet ave, I glanced over at the post office parking lot next door and hanging on the fence was this pink quilted heart just zipped up in a ziplock bag. I was going to walk over and take it but I decided it may belong to someone and they would be back for it. I left there at 9:22am and returned back at 3:00pm to pick my daughter up and the heart was still hanging on the fence so I then decided to walk over and take it off the fence and read the tag that was attached it said “ I Need A Home!” After researching it online I realized this was meant for me, see I had lost my fiancé only a few months ago and I’ve been feeling so down thinking about him I needed something to put a smile on my face, and that it did. I have added the pink quilted heart to my home and it is on a shelf besides my fiancé’s memorial.
