I found my quilted heart about a week ago hanging from a tree while hiking in the state park on a camping trip. In August 2022, I fractured my heel while on another camping trip in Georgia. That trip was cut short because I had to return to my hometown of Gainesville, Florida for surgery. The recovery from my injury was long and I was often depressed and concerned I wouldn’t be able to resume the activity that I especially love…walking and hiking. I am happy to say that with PT and determination I can do those things with minimal discomfort. When I found the heart, it made me smile. I am so thankful with my whole heart!! I love the fact that my heart was Halloween themed because that represents everything Fall, my favorite time of the year. Thank you!!
