I was thinking about my sister while driving and how hard she has been working lately. I wanted to do something nice for her and decided to collect some pine boughs for her for her Christmas decorating so she didn’t have to and to show how much I love her. I stopped on my way home where I knew there were a few pine trees next to a hospital parking lot. I respectfully cut a few boughs from one tree here, another there, and was making my way back to the car when I noticed the heart hanging from one of the pine branches. At first I didn’t want to take it thinking a child may have put it there for the tree, but then I read the tag and decided to take it with me. It was the perfect heart made just for me. I am a naturalist and educator and the heart has mushrooms and acorns and bears – just perfect. It truly made my day and I would love to start making hearts and sharing them with others. I think this would be an amazing Christmas/Holiday thing to do with my family. Thank you so much to the one who made my heart. You are loved.
