On a rainy Sunday evening in Palo Alto my son and me were looking for an open restaurant on California Avenue. We settled on Terun, one of our favorite Italian places. Unfortunately they were completely full and the only seating was outside in front of the restaurant. We took the table even so it was raining and cold. After we settled I saw the little heart hanging on a brush in one of the restaurants planters. What a pleasant surprise.
